It really bothers me when anybody starts a critiquing text post about Korra with:

“You know, this could’ve really been a good series…”

I completely understand if you didn’t like the first book…but the show isn’t over. The series isn’t over. We have another three books to go. Stop acting like you’ve seen it all. Let this show just BREATHE for a minute. 

I’m considering writing a Valentine’s Day story for LOK. And the idea I have could really fit/be easily adjusted to a few couples.

So should I write for:

Makorra?

Korrasami?

or Borra?

Take your pick. Must have all votes in by tonight though because I have to start writing it tonight/tomorrow to have it in time for Valentine’s Day.

Mako: Realizes he likes two different girls and can’t decide which one he wants to be with more and ends up hurting the both of them as well as his brother for his indecisiveness.

You guys: Oh my god he’s such a douchebag how dare he hurt Asami/Korra/Bolin. Jeez why can’t he just go die or something. Bolin liked Korra first plus he has Asami and he’s not allowed to like two girls because that kind of behavior should be dealt with by a death sentence and the fandom’s burning hatred for all eternity.

Loki: Continuously tries to take over the earth as well as other worlds and kills hundreds of people, using mind control to manipulate people into doing his dirty work, conspires with other really evil people in order to make all of his plans work no matter what the cost.

You guys: Oh our poor baby! He’s just so misunderstood and lonely and he wants to be accepted. He wants the attention that his father never gave him as a child so he acts out like this because he had an awful childhood! He’s just so adorable and I bet he just wants a hug! It’s totally easy to overlook all the people he murdered in cold blood when he’s just that hot and has such a sad backstory.

Alright. So just yesterday, there was a video posted in the korra tag it would seem where there is a dapper!Mako dancing to Catgroove by Parov Stelar who then transitions into a dapper!Korra.

The poster of this video is realsoul123. However, they are not the original artist.

They did not source this video to the original artist, hikarufer, who worked very hard on that piece as per request by me months ago.

This post has more notes than the original and this really upsets me.

BUT HERE’S THE REALLY IMPORTANT PART 

I asked them nicely to take down the video on behalf of the original artist. I reblogged the video, saying how upset I was that it was stolen from her like that. I also informed hikarufer of what happened and she replied back saying that it hurt that someone would do such a thing.

Today, she messages me that our reblogs of that post are missing. I go and check and, what do ya know, I can’t find my post anywhere.

SO NOT ONLY DID THEY IGNORE MY POLITE REQUEST TO REMOVE THE VIDEO, BUT THEY DELETED MY COMMENT WHICH ALSO POINTED THEM OUT.

I actually wanted to write a fanfiction on that…I just don’t know where to begin…or how to end it

This is if the Krew and others were put in our times and without bending.

If they were to go to a rave, Korra would be an awesome tecktonik dancer (maybe jumpstyle too), Bolin would kick-ass at shuffling and jumpstyle, Asami would be one of those people who just kind of does a bouncing/swaying sort of thing (I can’t think of any dances she’d be especially good at suited for a rave) and Mako would just be standing off to the side, hating everything.

I’m honestly surprised that this hasn’t been done yet

I loved these two to death. Plus, they were the first LOK cosplayers I found after a whole day of looking (and by whole day I mean the 3 hours that I was there before leaving briefly)

It’s the first warm day of spring. Korra pads barefoot across the floorboards to the window and they’re cool under her toes and heels, like she’s standing on the surface of a polished ochre river. She undoes the sash on the window and throws it open so that the heat rolls in, curling and pooling into the room, a sea breeze slipping by shy and quiet.

Across the bay, Air Temple Island sits rocky and verdant on the jewel-blue sea, the sunlight glinting off the bronze-trimmed pagodas, and she leans out the window and takes a deep breath of springtime. Lazy afternoon, lazy day; a white bird tilts out of the sky and soars off on silent wings.

Korra hears the metallic chunk of the apartment door unlocking behind her and she stays at the window until Mako’s hands are on her arms, ghosting up to her shoulders, and his fingertips draw small thrills that skate to the back of her neck.

Mako and Bolin were both orphans forced to live on the street, Mako running errands for the Triple Threat Triads and all that.

Liz/Mako is the oldest, Patty/Bolin is the youngest but are still not too far apart in age.

Death the Kid is the son of the Grim Reaper himself and possesses special abilities because of this.

Korra is the Avatar and is the only one to bend all 4 elements because of this.

Death the Kid obsesses with symmetry and balance and believes the Shinigami’s main purpose is to retain this balance.

Korra, as the Avatar, has a duty to keep peace and retain balance in the world and between the spirit world and the physical world.

Death the Kid finds Liz and Patty and brings them to his mansion to live with him.

Korra meets Mako and Bolin and brings them to Air Temple Island to live with her (eventually).
