I’ve been listening to a lot of Celtic music lately and watching a lot of fantasy animes and now I just really want to do something for Korra.

I’m actually a bit inspired to draw something but then I remembered I can’t draw so…

Fantasy AU it is.

And we get to the part where Mako asks where Korra is

And this is what my friend says

You know you’ve been depraved of Korra for too long when you try to figure out what the hell that fence means and trying to figure out where they are based on it from the picture that Bryan gave us.

I’m considering writing a Valentine’s Day story for LOK. And the idea I have could really fit/be easily adjusted to a few couples.

So should I write for:

Makorra?

Korrasami?

or Borra?

Take your pick. Must have all votes in by tonight though because I have to start writing it tonight/tomorrow to have it in time for Valentine’s Day.

Alright. So just yesterday, there was a video posted in the korra tag it would seem where there is a dapper!Mako dancing to Catgroove by Parov Stelar who then transitions into a dapper!Korra.

The poster of this video is realsoul123. However, they are not the original artist.

They did not source this video to the original artist, hikarufer, who worked very hard on that piece as per request by me months ago.

This post has more notes than the original and this really upsets me.

BUT HERE’S THE REALLY IMPORTANT PART 

I asked them nicely to take down the video on behalf of the original artist. I reblogged the video, saying how upset I was that it was stolen from her like that. I also informed hikarufer of what happened and she replied back saying that it hurt that someone would do such a thing.

Today, she messages me that our reblogs of that post are missing. I go and check and, what do ya know, I can’t find my post anywhere.

SO NOT ONLY DID THEY IGNORE MY POLITE REQUEST TO REMOVE THE VIDEO, BUT THEY DELETED MY COMMENT WHICH ALSO POINTED THEM OUT.

HELP MY FRIEND HIKARUFER GET THE CREDIT SHE DESERVES

Would anyone be interested if I wrote a LOK/FFXIII crossover? I have a few ideas right now, but it’s still kind of in the works.

I was gonna do a LOK/SAO crossover but I realized that: 1. There’s a lot of people probably planning to do something like that, 2. I have more ideas for the crossover with FFXIII, and 3. I honestly think FFXIII trumps SAO so I’d personally want to write that one more.

And so far it’s not that bad. Some parts I’m not too happy with, but it is, in fact, an adaptation so of course not EVERYTHING is going to be the same. That I can accept.

But I’m currently at the part where Mako and Bolin have escaped the rally and are heading down the ladder and I am pissed off.

It reads: “Midway down the ladder, Mako and Bolin were zapped by the sizzling current. The shock jolted their fingers from the metal rungs-“

No. 

Let me stop you there.

THAT IS INCORRECT.

When you are electrocuted or shock by electricity of that voltage (basically, not just a simple static shock) your muscles freeze.

Get that? They FREEZE. As in, they tense and lock up. And your muscles stay in this state until there is no more electricity flowing between you and the source.

So basically, saying that the electricity zapped them off the ladder is WRONG. Even in the cartoon, they remained on the ladder as they were electrocuted and only fell off when the electricity stopped flowing between the kali sticks, the ladder, and them.

SO NO ERICA DAVID.

I was watching LOK with a friend this morning and this is her first time watching it. So I decided to record her reaction to the part in episode 6 where the equalists reveal themselves at the probending finals.

Can I just say that this is my favorite Korra fanart? And that you all now probably realize just how weird I am for claiming this as my favorite?

I’ve reached this really weird point where some days I don’t want a continuation for LOK, like um no ew get that away from me, but other days I feel like I’m going to die without it.

They’ll all be at the SWT festival and there will be these group of guys around Korra’s age that were the same kids who wouldn’t play with her when she was younger (another headcanon of mine).
